Back in the late 90’s, Mark Wahlberg graces billboards on the Sunset Strip in just his Calvin Klein underwears, feeding the dreams of many a gay man in West Hollywood…
Starting this week, you can, metaphorically at least, eat Wahlberg’s meat, and buns, in the heart of Sunset Plaza, with the opening of his family’s franchise, Wahlburgers in the former Cafe Med location across from Chin Chin.
Burgers and fries are the basics, with sandwich and salad options as well.
Sides like fries and tater tots are a bit on the pricey side, but the burgers are reasonably priced compared to The Counter or Burger Lounge down the street.
Plus with its Sunset Plaza location, parking is free!
The restaurant also includes a full service bar with “Wahlcoctions” like a Skinny Mule and a WeHo Mojoto.
Former Abbey bartender Adam Roll has been involved in the opening of the location as well as the other Wahlburgers in the new University Village by USC.
