The big day has finally arrived! Regardless of what you do, if you live, work or play in West Hollywood, Halloween will impact your everyday life…
Some will choose to go out, others will try to stay home, and others will try to find a happy medium.
Before we get to what’s going on, here’s some quick links for you to get caught up:
- Halloween street closures and transit options
- Halloween Carnival Theme: 70s and 80s
- Halloween Carnival changes for 2017
And if you still need costume ideas:
- WeHo City Council Costumes
- Go Go dancer costumes
- Micky’s Bartender Costumes
- Drag Queen costume ideas
Okay now that we have covered all that……
If you want to see whether the Dodgers can keep the dream alive, the game starts at 5:20 PM and could go late.
In the Boystown area, head to GYM SportsBar or Trunks for the best viewing and reasonably priced drinks.
Better yet, head to Barney’s Beanery, The Den or Saddle Ranch if baseball is really something you care about…..
Enter the Assylum at Micky’s with DJ SRO downstairs and Paulo Ramirez in Level2Lounge.
Catch Bar10’s Gender Bending Time Warp costume contest at 8 PM. No cover all night!
The Abbey and The Chapel become The Scary Monastery if you have a wristband…
Bordello at the Doheny Room opens from 8 to 2 with DJs Blacklow and Ryan Kenny.
The Penthouse and Factory open up for one big block-wide party!
Beat the cover charges and head to Mother Lode where you’ll get some of the strongest drinks in town!
AVOID THE CROWDS
Honestly, one of our favorite WeHo Halloweens was spent on the patio at Bar10 watching the crowds go by while we sat in comfort.
If that sounds more your speed, grab a table at Hamburger Mary’s, Basix or La Bohème (who also has all night happy hour!)
Billy Francesca hosts the Witches Ball at The Standard Hotel from 8 PM to 2 AM.
Enjoy happy hour all night and the best comfort food in town at Taste on Melrose!
FUBAR and the Gold Coast will also be great options to have a good time while avoiding the crowds.
Hope that all helps and you have a scary good time tonight!!!
