The Lavender Effect, a local nonprofit for preserving Los Angeles’ LGBT history wants to teach you a thing or two, and feed you, on August 20th. 

The downtown walking tour will start at the Redline then hit downtown LA’s most significant LGBT sites, “From the gay-friendly Native Americans who first settled here to LA’s first gay porn theatre that opened in the 1880’s to the grand hotels and bathhouses that sated the secret desires of the Hollywood elite.”

For $65 you’ll get the walking tour and brunch and a pre-tour mimosa.
