It’s the First Day of Christmas in July! It’s Bastille Day Eve! Even if you’re struggling for a reason to celebrate, there’s always something going on here in West Hollywood.  Here are some ideas…

Happy Hour…

Kick off your Bastille Day celebrations at Cafe d’Etoile, West Hollywood’s French Bistro with staying power (unlike Le Relais de l’Entrecote on Melrose)

Be contrarian and lift a 2-4-1 margarita to the French Revolution at Fiesta Cantina until 8 PM… Because, you remember, it was the French whom Mexico defeated at the Battle of Puebla on Cinco de Mayo…

Later on…

Red returns to Bar10, hosted by Leo Madrid, with music by DJ Cazwell and performances by Melissa Befierce, Mya Befierce, Moxie and Vizin.

If that’s not enough drag for you, Haus of Starr starts at Rage at 10 just down the street.

Alex (pictured above) and Pablo are at your service as Micky’s Latin night, Arriba, takes over Level2Lounge upstairs at 10 PM.

And finally, Murray Swanby’s Touch Thursday takes over The Chapel at The Abbey with Cake Moss and Gia Gunn.
